Lucid Dream Hypnosis Video.

Hello everyone, I've been playing with the idea of combining the theory of memes with lucid dreaming for some time now. (a meme is a replicating thought) I found one tune to be a particualy good meme, it's very catchy and keeps popping back into mind. By the way, I'm trained in Hypnosis and this principle is very basic, but tends to work quite well. Anyhow, I thought i'd try combining this meme with the suggestion to ask yourself "Am I Dreaming?" each time it pops to mind. So with that in mind I made this simple video. This is more of an experiment to see how others get on with it. Be warned, the tune will get stuck in your head (that's the point) so if you don't like that sort of thing, don't watch. So have a look, see if it works for you, Report back either way. And remember once again, that tune will get stuck in your head (hopefully along with the suggestion to reality check!)... I've noticed in my own experience, that the suggestion seems to have taken hold when i realise that the singing starts to sound like "Am I Dreaming?" who else gets this?

Interesting... its definitely a catchy tune. What is the purpose of the spiral with hypnosis? Is it to draw subliminal attention to the 'Am I Dreaming?' How often do you think it should be watched? Once a day? Anything to help with RC's is a help. Thanks spaceexplorer

The spiral with hypnosis is really just a way to confuse and focus your attention a little. If the conscious mind is busy making sense of things or being tied up in some other way, then suggestions can slip through easier. It's also the basis of an optical illusion, which helps confuse the senses a little more too. This video really is a very basic form of hypnosis, the kind that is used in advertising often. To create a catchy thought, attach a suggestion, and let it work its way through the mind. As with advertising, I'd suggest watching the video as often as you can. Really this is more of an experiment. I'm interested to see how easily the thoughts stick. All feedback is good.
