Not here, no. That's probably because my dream recall tends to suck, though.

Although I do find waking up early then going back to bed always makes it more likely for me to have a lucid dream.

Perhaps your brain begins to "power up" when you're near to waking up, and that makes it capable for you to think rationally, and therefore have a lucid dream?

probly because the more sleep you get the more 'aware' your brain would be.

Today, everything was fine. Until roundabout, quarter to nine, I suddenly found myself in a bind. Was it something I said? Something I read an manifested that’s getting you down.[/b]

I heard that your chances of having a LD increase dramatically if you wake up 4-6 hours of sleep, stay up for about a half hour, then go back to bed. Haven't tested this so, I dunno*shrug*

This is very true. If you sleep for extensive periods your chances for LDing increases.

      don't you mean...infatuated?

and yes, you tend to have lucid dreams more after sleeping for several hours.

Hmm, recently I noticed that my first dream (2.5 hours after falling asleep) is the most interesting/detailed/bizarre.

oh yes, INFATUATED! i apologize, paperdoll, i know how technical you are about typos. just get more sleep, if you can, and the more brain 'activity' you will have

It works alright. I discovered this inadvertently one day when I woke up at 6 o' clock, stayed up for a few minutes, and went to sleep again. I had a lucid dream.

Might not work for everyone, but it worked for me.

Naw... Didn't even think of the term "WILD" while I was awake. It just...happened.

Although it might of been. Didn't use any technique except "damn, back to sleep".

      well that technique works too!

but WILD, you should try it. The amount of vividness in the dream is totally worth it. (is vividness a word?)

Well since you said Please I guess I can give you some insight. haha!! To be honest with you I don't have a technique. Im just laying in bed and I feel sleepy, eyes are closed, mind is clear sometimes, then it hits me. well mine are usually initiated in the same way my OBE's start. all of a sudden I feel strange and sleep paralysis sets in Now as far as I know my mind is still awake Im not in a dream yet. Once Paralysis sets in I have two options at this point I can either Go OB or LD if I go OB thats simple I just let my thoughts take my spirit where I want it to go. If I decide to LD it's time consuming I can start to create at this point all during sleep paralysis, create my dream setting where I want to be when I get there. But I gotta be quick about it because soon after I get this rushing feeling and its off to dream world I usually feel myself tumbling like tumbling down the rabbit's hole and I always here like Buzzing noises or Energy noises. From what I was told its just your Dream world that is already in motion and you are hearing a mixture of all things going on in your dream world while you're on your journey but I don't believe that crap. and once I open my eyes after Im done tumbling and falling or whatever Im doing then Im usually within the enviorment that I've already pre-created during S_P. And thats about it.

I can't WILD, and I won't WILD. I get bored after 2 minutes and just decide to get to sleep and hope it happens.
