New Autosuggestion technique: something familiar

This is something I thought of when I first joined back in August of last year, and it's pretty succesful. Anybody that has a decent ability of using autosuggestion should try this out and post their results. The idea is simple: sit in an area that you are VERY familiar with (preferably your house/apartment) and take in every single detail of it. It doesn't HAVE to be your residence, but it would help. Take in the details Sit down in an area where you could see the WHOLE room. For me, I sat on my couch, and addressed every little part of my living room. My blinking clock, position of my furniture, pictures on the wall, marks on the rug, cable box, paintings, etc etc. Usually, you should mostly focus on the PHYSICAL things, like things you can see. Although, I can see this working with different sensations (like touch). Question EVERYTHING Do you remember these things being there? Was that painting always crooked? Why is my picture missing? Isn't there supposed to be a clock there? Why do I not have TiVO? Why is my room lacking windows? Wait, am I dreaming? Being able to point out small differences in things that you are INCREDIBLY familiar with is easier than your typical reality check, because in typical reality checks, you have to remember to even do it in the first place. Not only that, but a dream could be incredibly ordinary, not even prompting you to even THINK to do a reality check. While dreaming about your living room, you will EASILY be able to point out anything that is wrong with the environment. This is a good idea for ANYBODY that would like to try it, but I would (preferably) like a lot of people that are good at autosuggestion to try it out and tell me if it is successful. When I first joined, Snowy Egypt attempted it and claimed it was successful the first time she tried it. I believe that to be a pretty credible source, right? =p So please, try this out if your interested, and POST YOUR RESULTS!
