You have a fear of becoming lucid in a nightmare? Um, why? If you are in a dream which you really don't like, and you know it is a dream, then just change it foo' |

you can voluntarily wake up from a lucid dream? wonder how that works, i guess you could use a verbal command. haha "wake the **** up!" |

If you know your are dreaming it is very easy to wake up. Just strain your eyes to open, even when you think they are already open, and they'll pop open in real life. |

I did the same thing- after a few lucid dreams I kind of faded out of being interested in dreams, stopped my dream journal, lost a lot of dream recall... but I'm back! Let's hope we don't fade again, huh? |

You're gonna hate me for saying it, but a dream journal is not necessary and can be restrictive. If you record your dreams, they will gain a pattern only because yoy believe you see a pattern. Well its useful for starting to LD, but then you lose the originality of the LD slowly the more you record and change to what is logical. Its more interesting to see how you are thinking and remember the dream in memory. Recording it, I believe could hurt the process that makes it random. |
