How many times did you have to try a WILD before it succeeded? I've tried 3 times and I will try again tonight. I use WBTB with it and have read just about every tutorial. I usually get frustrated after a half an our of waiting for SP. Thanks :)

Well, WILDing can take a long time. And not getting it after only three tries is not that bad. :D
Keep trying. Try waking up a few minutes off from the last time you tried. And don't give up. That is the most important thing.
I still suck at WILDing
These are old so you don't wanna drag them up, but you may be interested in reading the responses in
How long do you lay in bed to get SP to WILD?
How long did it take for you to successfully WILD?
I've been attempting to WILD almost every night since early February with only one bout of SP, and that wasn't even when trying to WILD. :( I seem to be terrible at it, but I find most people get it to work much faster than that.
it took me a couple weeks to have my first WILD but it was worth it. It was incredibly vivid and lengthy, and my level of awareness was really high.
have you ever tried WILD'ing during a daytime nap? I did the other day and made a smooth transition into a lucid. Unfortunately it ended way to soon, and was followed by three or four different non-lucid dreams. When I woke up I was surprised that all that had happened in about thirty minutes.
As I replied in another thread before, the Stephen LaBerge reccomended 61-Point Relaxation technique is indispensible. I get the impression not many people use it, because it just isn't getting the recognition it really deserves.
I entered partial SP lastnight by practicing it, except I wasn't intending to WILD. It was the first time I've use it, a shame. Maybe I would have got there :P.
well I started at the start of march, tried every night, and had one last night.
So yeah, was pretty fun.
There is an easier way. With the Lucidity Institute's book; "A Course in Lucid Dreaming", you get a couple of CDs. One of the tracks on it runs you through the 61 point technique, from start to finish. You really think someone like me would actually bother remembering all those points? Please ;)
EDIT: Just noticed you're dream goal, awesome idea! Takes me back to when I was like 8, that was the best show.
Hm, maybe I should try getting one of those CD's :P If it helps that much.. You have to do it when attempting wild AFTER the 5-6 hours sleep yeah?
PS: Yeah I loved DBZ, sucks that it doesnt still run I guess, plus the new movie is gona suck badly, so no chance for a good adaptation anytime soon.
I hear you on that. Everyone knows the cartoon movies with real people suck. About the CDs, you could always check out your local P2P network. If you aren't following me, you don't deserve to know, because I can't say anymore or I get banned.
Hahah. Admins? Moderators? There is NOTHING going on here, I swear. Now just walk away admins, moderators... thats right... keep walking...
*wink wink*
WILDing is easier then most people make it out to be. 1/3 of my lucids are WILDs. Practice with WBTB and it will get easier.
