First of all, I don't believe OBEs can be proven, or initiated as easily as we say they can. The only real answer remains as the WILD

Check out the tutorials on it, such as Clair's awesome technique!

Feel free to ask any questions you might have, and again, welcome~
Thank you, I'll try this.

I know this. I've been trying for almost a year with no success. I accidentally entered SP while trying a different technique. (which wasn't even about SP) I also knew about LDs, and I was trying those, but I decided to try to focus on OBEs because I couldn't enter SP. Now, I'm going back to LDs. Maybe eventually I'll be able to OBE also, but right now I'm closer to a WILD.
Also, thanks again for helping. (Which doesn't mean I'm not open to other suggestions. I consider myself lucky to have found a whole community focused on this.)
EDIT: I have to leave for now, I'll check back tomorrow.

If you are in SP, to WILD, its simply just saying in your head "1, I'm dreaming.... 2, I'm dreaming, etc....". You can even get rid of the "I'm dreaming" part since it isn't necessary. To get an OBE, when you are fully in SP, just imagine yourself roll out of body or try to roll out but since you are paralyzed, you can't and your astral body is supposed to roll out instead You could also try imagining a rope and climbing out to get an OBE. Now whether OBEs are LDs, something entirely different or just hallucinations is unknown, but, you can read accounts on the Beyond Dreaming Section

A Wild and an OBE are really similar or even exactly the same thing. Learn how to WILD and you will learn how to have an OBE

I haven't been able to try any of this out, because it's harder during the week. But, I have noticed when I do it that I'm not in full paralysis, so it's been failing. Is there any way to turn a partial paralysis into a full paralysis? (I think I'm around 80-90%. I can still move around, but my body feels heavy and it's hard to make sudden movements.)

Not everybody gets full paralysis so maybe you are already there. Try to stop thinking about your body and focus on counting.

I have the exact same reason for being here as you. Been trying for a year to achieve OBE's - and have now realised that it might be easier to go after some LD's instead.
