      Why is it when....

I'm trying to sleep, it feels like my bed is swaying from side to side. This has happened three nights in a row. This happens after I've been in my bed for like a minute. Are these just hallucinations?
Lucid dreaming makes for a wonderful night's play.

I get something similar. Feels like my bed is vibrating. It happens to me when I have just entered the bed. It also happens if something rouses me out of sleep, and gets my heart pumping, then I lay back down. I think it has something to do with heartrate, but I am still trying to figure this out.
---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.

Well, I'm usually hiding under your bed punching your mattress. That could be it.

Haha, just kidding obviously. Your probably feeling some type of Hallucinations of some sort as you drift into unconsciousness. That would be my guess. Although, feeling that after only a minute or two in bed is kind of odd....it takes me at least 10 or 15 if I'm really tired to begin experiencing any type of HI or anything at all.

I think you were having an FA ( false awakening ) and you were really lying there in a hammock

Sorry! lol. I agree with the others, it's probably just a hallucination. You can get all sorts, like your head seems like it's spinning one way but your feet are rotating another.Weird stuff though!

I get the same thing sometimes. Usually it happens after I get HI (hypnagogic imagery). Images and stuff appear, and I realize that, I jerk awake and after about a second that feeling comes.

Maybe someone's just having really rough sex our beds. Who knows?
