Just a little something you might want to try

So last night I was in my room on my bed thinking of ways to have a lucid dream. Then I thought of an idea. I remember in school how sometimes I would write something on the back of my hand to make sure I didn't forget it, like a meeting or something. So I wrote the words "lucid dream" on the back of my hand, thinking I might notice it while I'm dreaming. It didn't work, but tomorrow I'm going to try writing it in the morning and checking my hand constantly during the day. But instead I might just write the letter D for dream or LD. It makes sense to me. I'm not sure if anyone has come up with this idea but I like it and thought I'd share it. Does it work for you?

The only problem is that you have to remember to look at your hand, and if you look at your hand you have to remember what it's supposed to have on it.

I did that a few times with posted notes and broken pencils. It sometimes worked as a kid, but you have to remember to leave it somewhere close to your bed so when you wake up you can see it immediately and determine if you're dreaming (if you awake in your room that is). Also perform the action (writing on your hand, writing a note, breaking a pencil, etc.) right before going to bed so you get all excited and have it fresh in your mind what you are going to do.
