I was doing really well. For a week straight, which was my first week at attempting to lucid dream, I was reality checking all the time, reading up on this website consistently, and even had 2 LD's (although short and uncontrolled). |

Toughie. I'd say, even though your not motivated..Do it anyways. Because, really, when you start getting multiple lucids it will be worth it. When you awake from an LD, you will feel amazing. YOull have so much energy, and your entire day will be a happy one. (I mean a good LD, not those one second uncontrolled ones) |

Depression is tough. I'm coming out of a lifelong bout of it myself. How much freedom do they give you too choose your diet? Omega-3's are huge. The body is 'evolutionarily' adapted to get four times as much omega-6's as omega-3's. With a 'civilized' grain based diet (the food pyrimid here in the us) we get about ten to twelve times as much. It is well known that omega-3's are the optimal material for building neuron walls and that when the body substitutes omega-6's, the neurons don't fire as well. So making sure you get alot of omega threes is important. There are 12 different types and it is difficult for your body to convert between them. the best source is spirulina as that also contains the vitamins that your body needs to make the conversions. In the military you probably get exercise so you can rule that out. Potassium deficiency can cause depression too. Do your cuts heal slowly? If so you probably have a potassium dificiency. |

Is there possibly something else you are interested in? What do you spend your time doing otherwise? |
