When you first get Lucid, calm yourself down. It does wonders. Then, whenever you feel like you might be losing Lucidity, waking up, etc., rub your hands together. To me, hand rubbing is the best stabilization method. |

I have had only two lucid dreams that i can imediately remember but i know i have had more in the past. Here is my problem though. Once i "get lucid", i have trouble staying lucid. I am usually calm but i get excited quickly. i have tried dream spinning but i usually am thinking to hard about what i am going to try. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? |

Hey Infarecho, this thread could help you out a lot; it's a great stabalization tutorial. Everything you need to know about prolonging a dream is located in there. |

What has worked well for me is touching whatever you can find in the environment. I think feeling your surroundings is analogous to holding onto your dream, and things have always stabilized after the dream becomes what I perceive as real. |

Yeah it also depends on the person as well. Something may work for one person, but not for another. You just gotta see what works for you! |

Are you having problems with waking up right after you become lucid, or problems staying lucid in the dream (meaning you forget that you are actually in a dream)? |
