      Dream or Hallucination?

Okay I attempted WILD this morning, and some time while I was receiving those intense sensations, I decided to "get up" but I got the levatating sensation instead. Now I'm not sure whether or not to call it a lucid dream, or hallucination.

Well if hypnagogic means "leading into sleep", and I was already partly past that point, maybe it was a dream? Just a guess.

It sounds like your mind was responding to the order, "get up", and the levitating sensation occurred because you were already detached from your body.

      What happened after that?

i tried to open my "dream eyes" and was sucked back into my body and woke up. i made sure to do a reality check afterwards which concluded I wasn't dreaming.

I would have skipped opening my eyes..

Think about that a moment. Don't open 'em, just see.

If I had to bet a quarter... dream.

Or seeing as you were between, maybe a little of both?

happens to me a bunch of times.
I feel detached, floating...and i can never see; its always dark as if
      my eyes are closed.
it feels really peaceful, but if i ever try anything, i always
get sucked back to my body or into a dream.

dunno. i like to think its astral projection.

It's literally impossible for us to tell. You're the only person who will be able to make any sort of assessment, and yours will be the best. All we do know is that you definitely reached a great point in your WILD/WILD attempt, so whatever you're doing you're doing right Keep it up!

lol i actually was hoping you would post and I predicted you would say this.

anyway yes exactly, i believe it was a dream though could it have been astral projection? i doubt it but i'm not gonna try to say it wasn't. but just the way you described it mouse is what happened. I couldn't see anything like as if my eyes were closed.

i'm gonna have to go with dream. I just wanted to know for that i keep a list of all the dates of my lucid dreams in the back of my dream journal and i didn't want to write that i had a lucid dream when i really didn't

      thanx for the replies everyone
