Something strange just happened to me?

Ok, well I'm 16, very new to lucid dreaming... I've been reading around on this site for just a while, managed to have 2 lucids so far both I got too excited when they started and woke up.

Just now something strange happened just curious if anyone has an idea what it was? I'm just gonna mention all the details in case they're important...
Ok well I was just sitting in my chair at my computer... I turned of the monitor so it was dark, I propped my feet up on the desk and leaned back into the chair, I set my elbows on the armrests and used my hands to keep my head propped up, ( in a position where it didn't take much effort to keep my head up) my thumbs were both under my chin and my fingers pressed against the sides of my head... then I closed my eyes and just began to imagine a dream scene... I imagined a room and what everything felt like... with my hands, feet, what it smelled like and looked like, focused less on hearing and even less on taste. I imagined everything in the room and looked at things up close and examined everything....

after maybe about 10-15 minutes of doing this( I never really expected anything to happen) it got weird for me.. I no longer had to use any energy to support my head or feet I didn't feel my hands or legs at all or my whole body for that matter... it felt like my chair was shaking around and it felt like like my mind/eyes were moving forward(sorry hard to describe)... I just kept trying to focus on the room I was in and kept my eyes shut the whole time... I didn't feel my body at all anymore.... then I got excited and started to lose my focus.. I still kept my eyes shut and it was a really strange feeling.. it felt like my hands were pressing on the opposite sides of my head.. in reality my right hand was pressed against the right side of my head and left hand on the left.. but it felt like my arms were twisted around my head and were pressing against the opposite sides... I still couldn't feel the rest of my body.
I finally kind of gave up and opened my eyes, my arms and legs were really heavy and hard to lift and it took about 5 minutes until i was back to normal.

Never experienced this before.. can anybody help me understand what it was.. I might try it a bit later or tomorrow and report back.. but any tips from anybody would be great.. on what it was or if I was on to something? thanks!

seems you began entering sleep paralysis while sitting. I think that that's one of the goals of regular sitting meditation

These definitely sound exactly like a lot of the common hypnagogic hallucinations that people get, especially when in SP as Yuri has stated. Congrats! Sounds like you might have a knack for it! Keep up the VILD technique, I bet it'll take you places

Although I haven't had a successfully WILD yet, i can put myself in SP. I always get that feeling that my hands are grasping or touching the sides of my legs. (in reality there a good foot away and it just feels like that) its weird. they always feel like i am touching something when i am not. its weird huh.
