      a few questions

on the list of forums, it says this about this forum

discussions about Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams (WILD) should take place in the WILD subforum located within.

Why do wild's have their own subforum? Which I didn't find. This is my favorite kind of technique. Probably because I have been successful at it and don't really see myself being able to use any other technique.

I have had only 3 lucid dreams that I can remember. I have also had a few other dreams that I would almost describe as lucid but weren't. In these dreams I have been able to have my desires but not realize I was getting them. Like once i became telekinetic and it was really easy to do it. but it happened during a dream that was half lucid and half not. The one thing I really remember about it was the feeling that I felt in my head. Well, my dream head that is. I don't remember ever feeling anything in my dreams really. But when I went telekinetic, I did feel something. I felt like I was connected to the object that I was moving and it was very interesting. Which leads me to my question.

Has anyone every considered that doing things like this in the dream world could cross over into real life after gaining enough practice in dreams? I would have to think that more is possible than what we know considering the amount of people that don't even know or care what a lucid dream is.

And tell me if you hate this? when you tell someone what a lucid dream is and they respond? Why would you want to do that? When i go to sleep, I want to be sleeping. I want my rest. Does this bug the holy living crap out of you? or is it just me?

I talk to my friends about my dreams and lucid dreams quite often.. They know i love it. One of my good friends is interested in trying to do lucid dreaming.. The fact is, many people have had Lucid dreams before they just don't know it is called that, and that its scientifically proven...

And who knows about the dream world, there are things that we have yet to discover. I was thinking about this the other day... What if there are some weird type of Portal holes in our dreamscapes (somewhere out there) that if we were to fall through them we would be locked inside the dream forever--and in waking life-- we would just be in a constant sleep state--but not a coma...

That is way far out there, but hey, dreams are that way...

Screw them. Have your own fun!

You can do whatever you want. Who cares what other people think.

However, it is nice to have a friend to which you can talk to about lucid dreaming, for motivation, you know?
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

It only bugs me because it shows some ignorance in the person. I mean how could you blow off something so f*cking awesome. Luckily almost every one of my friends think it is awesome as well and i have got a couple of them to start lucid dreaming.

And about the other stuff.....i really dont know and believe that there is no way to know for sure until it happens. Saying yes it can happen, or no it cant happen also shows some ignorance. Hell, i used to think controlling dreams was impossible but look how that turned out.
