      How close am I??

Ok, I have been trying wild for the last couple of nights and I have gotten to the point where I get somewhat of a weird feeling come over my body and my heartrate speeds up. But I haven't gotten any vibrations yet. So, I am wondering what is next and how I can turn this into a lucid dream. Thanks for reading and please respond.

I haven't done much WILDing at all, only a handful of times. However they were very unique and enjoyable experiences, and I'd love to do more WILDing at some point in the future.

I think it's different for everyone.

I think you're getting close, keep trying! And stop trying so hard

It's hard to say how close you are as vibrations or paralysis is a good indicator. As soon as you get them then you know your heading in the write direction.
Try not to concentrate too hard on what you body is going through.

Perhaps you should try DILD for now because WILD is a lot harder to master.

      Hey baseballer.

My first question would be are you attempting to WILD in conjunction with a WBTB (Wake Back to Bed)? If not, then you're kind of defeating the purpose of WILD'ing but at the same time gaining experience at how to enter the state of sleep paralysis. Lucid dreams ONLY occur during REM and REM is very minimal in the first few hours of sleep. If you want to enter a lucid dream, then you need to time your attempts to coincide with the latter stages of your REM cycle.

Well, I usually get up after about 6 hours of sleep and I stay up for about 15 minutes. Is that enough time awake or should I stay up longer?

If you're wide awake and clear headed when you go back to sleep, yes. It usually takes me about 30 minutes before I'm awake enough. If you're like me and usually well rested after 8 hours, the 6 hour mark works out perfectly!

You talk to vacuum cleaners and safes, you've had apple trees growing in your living room, tigers and horses in your dining room, an elephant in your bedroom. I've seen you locked in a jail in the middle of your living room and once someone swore they saw you floating in mid-air! How do you explain that, Major Nelson!?
