Can someone tell me exactly what happened to me?

I'm not really new to this, I have been reading up and doing a lot of experiments with lucid dreams, however I was curious about this other thing because I didn't really understand it. I was meditating before I went to bed. I meditated for about 20 minutes when I was starting to feel real comfortable and my thoughts were empty when all of a sudden I see this image of me (1st person might I add) sitting on one of my chairs, with an xbox controller in my hand. I get scared for some weird reason, I don't know why. It was not scary but I read up and found out that these images tend to give a feeling of violence or something like that. So I try my hardest to not get excited, the image was so clear!. So I keep my mind clear and let the dreams form, I see a few more things (just the usual paterns and or lights). I was doing so good until eventually for some weird reason (anyone know why? It has also happened during other sessions), My left arm moves by itself. So at that point I just start writhing in bed because I don't want to have to go through all that again, but at least I am happy because the experience was something else!!!

So my question is, what could have happened if I had continued with the meditation? Would I have entered a dream state eventually (If I didn't fall asleep?

I really love lucid dreams and respect everything about them. Anybody want to share an experience where you self meditated? Any tips or advice?
      Thanks

      You entered the dream state...

I call this "WIALD" [Wake Initiated Accidental Lucid Dreaming]...

I can got this if i go to bed and start to daydream a bit to relax...

I'm daydreaming than i'm in somewhere doing something and think "Who the fuck?"

I remember that the first time it happened to me i thought "SHIT I'M SCHIZOPHRENIC" and yelled like Goku becoming a Super Sayajin, i was trying to yell in reality but i woke up and no one has heard my yell..

Next time you enter this, just enjoy it...

Lol, when I visualize myself doing something, my body tends to move by itself as well.
Yesterday I was imagining myself walking down this road... at some point I lost awareness because I became part of some other little scene. I was in a room with my little bro, and there was a pool outside, I yanked off my headphones, my right sneaker, and as I reached down to yank the left 1 off, my right hand in real life shot down to touch my foot. Woke me up, lol. I guess this isn't so bad, if I keep more control and awareness maybe I'll become a part of the scene completely!
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
