lucid or not

i had a dream where i was lucid, i realized i was in a dream, and i tryed to controll or change thing, but when i woke up i thought how am i suppose to tell if i am lucid or if im just dreaming about it, because some times when i want to go lucid and do something in piticular, i might just dream about it like watching a movie, so it could be posible to want to be lucid so much that i dream about it, like im watching my self do it, but not, i have done it before, its just that last night my dream was hard to rember, but i usaly very easily remember my lucid dreams.

I'm not completely sure, but I think you'll know when you have a real lucid dream. I've had a few dreams like yours where I wonder if I was lucid or not when I wake up. One dream stands out though, I was in a mall and I realized there was something on my head. I can't remember any other dreams at all where I could actually *feel* something. Usually, for me at least, dreams seem to be sort of fuzzy around the edges, you could say, like in a flash back on a soap opera. Lucid dreams are much clearer.
