I attend a boarding school and the amount of sleep I get varies with the amount of work the instructors assign (procrastination!!!). I generally get about 4-5 hours of sleep on weekdays (2ish-7ish). Oddly, through my usually extreme fatigue, I have found a way to lucid dream (I think). Like I said, I wake up around 7, and attend 2 hours worth of class, before returning for a one-hour break from 10-11. After being awake for around 3 hours, I put my jacket on (I don't know why, the jacket is essential), sit in a chair, and put my head on my arm down on my desk. The room is completely quiet; I don't move, colors begin to flash in and out of view, and a scene slowly unfolds, and after about 10 minutes, I am in a complete dream state, and I am aware that I am. I can dream about basically anything I want, and I am in almost complete control. The dreams last anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour. Also, I have been able to have them every weekday for the last 3 weeks or so using this method. Honestly though, I don't know if I am actually dreaming, or if I am merely delirious from a lack of sleep. Does anyone else know anything about this?
