      Dissapointing...

I can't believe I didn't have a LD. I was in a store and all over the store there were signs which said "LUCID". When I woke up I was dissapointed that I didn't become lucid. I remember that in a dream I thought "Oh look! A sign about lucid dreaming". Dammit!

Well, think of it this way. The idea of lucid dreaming is getting into your head, so it should get easier to become lucid. We've all done stuff like that, so don't kick yourself too hard Try going around telling ppl to do RCs and not do one yourself.

I've had a few dreams like that...in one, I saw the cover of a book someone was reading. It was titled: "Lucid Dreaming"!

In another dream, I was extremely disappointed and sulking because I hadn't become lucid. I then woke up.

I've also had a couple where I was just about to tell a friend about lucid dreaming but got interrupted and the moment was lost.

I've had nights where my most prominent dreamsigns have been paraded in front of me one after another and I didn't recognize them!

One of the Guides told me earlier that we can be kind of "dim" in our dreams sometimes.

Even with all of this, I average about 2-3 LD's a month. If I wasn't so "dim", I'm sure it would be a lot more. I have one reliable dreamsign that makes me do an RC and it 's one that I never had to work at. Most other times, it's the ultra vivid atmosphere and feeling of clarity in the dream that makes me ask myself if I'm dreaming and then do an RC.

      Good luck!

      kramari,
I once was having a dream and explained in detail about lucid dreaming to my sister, even reality checks. I never became lucid.
I don't know if that makes you feel any better but don't be disscouraged

Yeah, it is true what Ame said.

When I first started, I rememer dreaming of conjoint octuplets in bikini's doing the can can, telling me I was dreaming, the Muse playing a song that was going "Alex, time to realise you're dreaming". AND NOTHING! Don't be dissapointed. It happens to all of us.

I had the same thing last night. I was explaing to a friend about lucid dreaming and trying to convince them to try it. Felt like such a fool for not realising when I woke up. Dont feel too bad about it hopefully if you analyze what happened then if it happens again in your dream youll be more receptive
