Hello again. Welcome to DreamViews. =)

To answer your first question, it's more of the latter. Usually you remember lucid dreams like you would remember any moment in your waking life.

How vivid they are varies from person to person, and dream to dream. They tend to be more vivid than normal dreams, but not always.

      I hope that helps.

Having a lucid dream means being "awake" (conscious) in your dream, so yes, it happens as you do it.

The detail/vividness of the dream is different from person to person, but can be improved with stabilization and experience/practise.

Dream control is also different for everyone. Some find it easy to do certain things (such as flying), others find it hard. This too is something which can be practised and improved.
But yes, in a lucid dream you can do practically anything. Of course, first you should determine if you really are in a dream or not, and this is what reality checks are for.
      Main LD goals:
      - Futuristic/sci-fi/cyberpunk big city
      - Fantasy role-playing game
      - Flight and other super powers
      - Use lucid dreaming as a study-aid
      - Personal development, inner peace etc

Ah, I'm sorry, your question confused me a little. I thought you were asking if you controlled them without meaning to and then remembered what happened later. Sort of like being drunk. xP

You could do that if you wanted to, yes. I've flown a handful of times.

You remember a lucid dream, like said above, like in real life USUALLY. Also USUALLY you remembered you controlled it. When your in a lucid dream its like your in real life, although the vividness can be bad. Also, as stated above, dream control can vary from person to person and if you think you can do one thing then usually you can. For instance, If you think that if you jump off the building and can fly then you will. If you think that you will fall then you will fall. Its a matter of the mind. In a dreams its created 100% by your mind. So lucid dreams are only limited as your mind can take you. Any other questions? Also if anyone sees anything inaccurate in this post don't be afraid to mention something xD.

Hello In lucid dreams you are conscious, like you are right now reading these lines.

If you can control them, yes you have will and you do everything you want. Sometimes when you wake up , you might forget you had a LD. Brain tends to erase the dreams. However, from personal experience, because LDs are impressive experiences, you rarely forget it if you have rudimentary dream recall.
