      SunEye Help?

I tried SUNEYE Method 1 last night. I did everything by the book, nad when I tried to get back to sleep, I eventually got the CRAZY sounds, imagery, and vibration. However, the imagery would only last a few seconds and be patchy at times. After that was over, NOTHING HAPPENED (although i was expecting SP), and I became too awake to go to sleep.

I continued trying to visualize, and I got the feeling of my hands on a sticky surface, which was part of the visualization, but then, once again, nothing else happened! I've been basically awake since.

      So my questions are:

1.) What is a good way to get Sleep Paralysis?
2.) Should I sleep for only 5 hours instead of 6 before reading on LDs' and trying to sleep again?
3.) How the heck do I increase hypnagogic imagery and turn it into a dream?

Hello Krelian393 I don't believe I had a chance to welcome you to the forum!

I would like to first say that don't get discouraged!!!! Even if you follow things by the book does not necessarily mean success.

1.This may not be so. But I don't think there is an actual method to induce sleep paralysis. It is somthing that happens from time to time.

      2. I think once you get at least 5 to 6 hours of sleep would be sufficiant. But if you find that you have gotten so much sleep to where you cannot succesfully go back to sleep then I would reduce the amount of sleep.

      3. When hynagogic imagery accurs you are at a very relaxed state of mind and should not be trying to focus on any particular vision. They more than likey will appear at which time you agian just let the images manifest into more vivid images while trying to maintain somewhat a state of awareness. If succesful you can lead them right into a dream.

The book - Exploring the world Of Lucid Dreaming and the Forum's Tutorials may better explain (HI) for you.

Well, instead, I'm only gonna slep for 5 hours before my 30 mins awake, not 1 hour awake. And I'l l try making random scenes instead of just concentrating on one thing. Good stuff^
