Few questions on SP while WILDing

I had a few questions. I have tried WILDing 12 times now. None of them got me into a dream, although I (think) I had SP. All of the times I attemped WILDs were early in the morning(3-5AM) or early afternoon(12-3PM). Every time, after 20-80 minutes, I suddenly felt strong vibrations, and felt like I was moving up and down really fast. I was struggling to breathe, but tried to keep it steady. My heart was racing, and I also heard wierd noises(nothing too scary thankfully). I then lay there for 15-30 seconds, and then everything stops, and my ears ring for a minute. Was that really SP? I felt a little scared, and didn't try moving. I need to know if I am really getting to SP, so next time that happens, I will try moving. I have also DEILDed 5-6 times. Before I knew about lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis, I woke up from nighmares a few times, but felt super weak when I woke up, and could barely move. I suddenly felt really wierd, just like my WILD and other DEILD attemps. I tried to move and could not, and I saw the nightmare I just woke up from start to fade in. I have never been more terrified in my life, fighting to get out of SP, and I didn't know what was happening. In fact, this happened again just last week. My nightmare started fading in because I was thinking about, and was scared of it. So the times this has happened, at least 2-3 times that I remember, I finally get out of SP and actually get up for awhile so I wouldn't enter my nighmare(which was one of my worst, by the way). Those times I was terrified and tried to scream out. But, it felt the same as the 8 times I think I have gotten to SP, and the 4 DIELDS I attempted.

So am I actually in SP? And, if so, why am I not entering a dream? Would the other times when I started to enter my nightmare be because I was not concentrating on entering a dream?
I need to overcome this problem. If I am getting to SP when WILDing, I need to get into a dream.
Sorry bout it being so long. Hope someone can help!
      Thanks

I haven't successfully had a WILD yet but I may be able to help you, because I've tried many times. I had a similar problem. I've felt the same thing you have, racing heart, vibrating legs, noises... all that. How intense is it for you? I'm pretty sure those things come in waves so to speak, may happen more than once. I usually wait for it to finish, and then just stay still. I've heard that once you've entered SP, you KNOW! I'm pretty sure there'll be the feeling of not being able to move without even trying to move. I doubt you're in SP at that point, but just in case try to visualize your body, and then imagine it rolling out of your bed, it may plunge you into a dream. If it doesn't work, you're probably not in SP yet. A few tips would be once you think you're entering SP, it's okay if your breathe pattern changes on its own but try to stay calm, because if you accidentally change them in excitement or shock it'll take you out of SP.
The only other tip I have is if you fail to enter a dream when you're in SP just keep still and keep trying.

When I've had SP before WILDS it is always proceeded by a loud rushing noise in my ears (and nothing else). It seems like it's different for everyone though with some similarities. For me, this doesn't result in a dream or anything interesting initially. When I notice it I try to move out of my bed. I'll try rolling out or just using my hands to feel my way around my bed and then out of it. I'll move around my environment while blind until I start seeing things. Sometimes though I never end up seeing anything and the dream ends.

A possible reason for why you're not able to enter your dream is because you're out of your REM period.

K thanks. I tried to WILD this morning at 4:20PM. I entered SP in 20 minutes and could not move, so I know I was in. Then I fell asleep before a dream appeared. Oh well. But who cares! I had 4-6 after I fel asleep.
