Sounds like hypnagogia. I have these kinds of things when my mind wonders while I'm drifting to sleep. If you want to learn how to control it, scroll down to the V-Wild link under the Controlling Hallucinations section of the tutorial.

      I hope this helps

You dreamers and your hallucinations. I've only ever had two hallucinations, and they were pretty basic.

Well they're not all that intense were I would call them hallucinations but technically I guess I can call them that. They're more like lucid day dreams (if there is such thing) because they're kind of like daydreams that play themselves while I'm aware that it's happening. I usually just let them roll because if I try to control them too much, I end up waking up, especially if I'm attempting with the V-WILD method.

These are sometimes followed by a hypnic jerk.

I often picture and play adventures in my head when I go to bed in hopes I might dream about them. Sometimes I start to hear sound from them, or start to feel objects while I am still very awake. That is also followed by a hypnic jerk.

One time in 8th grade(5 years ago) I fell asleep in science class when my teacher turned off the light to show us an orbital model for all the planets. I insantly saw myself sitting in my chair in third person and I crumpled up a piece of paper and threw it at the door and it curved and hit the wall, made a thud and I woke up. It turned out some one fell back into the wall from leaning in their chair..

This happens to me a lot when there's external noises(i.e. not in my room). I think your brain just has enough time to process the sound in your dream before you actually realize you're waking up. I think it's really cool IMO. No reason to be alarmed, it just means you're aware.
