I think the important part is being able to remember to reality check, especially at specific times. It doesn't always have to be the time but maybe like seeing a red car, or every time you check the time, that sort of thing. |

This is a directed to those who would gladly like to give their opinion on this idea of "attaining lucidity" |

This is not like MILD method or any of the sort. Thanks for replying though and would like more. |

Basically how I see the reality check method is that it is a skill that needs to be practiced over and over for one to become good at it. I would say based of that, reality check should be done as much as possible, of course I am not fixed on this and there may be other methods to become "good" at reality checks, so I think we should have a volunteer to do this and record the success rate and see what happens. |

The most important part is questioning reality. Turn it into an automatic thing and it kinda defeats the point. |

I was thinking of trying the MILD/DILD so I'll be doing RCs now, I have a watch I wear all the time even when I sleep but the sound card it broken lol |

Relying on a time or visual.audio event to do an RC means they may not occur in dreams. Remember to RC/question reality on your own, and it will pay off. |
