I Think I Had An OBE

I remembered an OBE last night . It was short, and raised questions about Real Time mechanics. I awoke from a dream where by I became lucid as the dream fell apart. I knew I was awake but decided to keep my eyes closed and stay for a DEILD. I began to feel exit sensations but didn't realize I was about to be out of body. The sensations stopped then started again as the feelings became familiar. White light flashed once and my sensations ceased as I felt a dreamlike disconnect with my body. No longer tired I almost opened my eyes and see, but before I did I remembered to keep my eyes closed. As I decided to keep my eyes shut I saw my room, dark in the nighttime. I simultaneously wondered about how to get up, if my eyes are open, if I was in my body, If this was a dream or an OBE. I could look around my darkened room without trouble focusing, but so many questions occupied my mind. As I looked parallel to my chest I saw a ghost my G-mail account, as if my computer was on my chest. I decided it was just a dream and fell back to darkness. Can anyone shed light on my experience? Why did I see something that wasn't there? Blush*
