During a lucid dream, crash into a wall. Just as your body slams into the wall you will find yourself projecting out of your body. |

i am a bit experienced in LD and OOBE. had a few consciously controlled experiences but the majority of the experiences have been spontaneous. and wanting some help on oobe technique. also when these things happen everything still has a physical diamension to it. like can't get past walls and such. |

Tips For Newbies | What to do in an LD
Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.
Everything must be at a perfect balance when trying to OBE. Concentration, relaxation, and a reliable exit technique. Help at: www.astralpulse.com if you already haven't been there. |

Tyranny comes in a uniform.
Yes, it worked for me the few times I tried it. The idea is that you bring your attention to your body and pop out. |

You are confusing OOBE with astral projection. An OOBE by definition is actually physically leaving your body. This requires much more than just slamming into a wall. It takes lots of concentration and effort. It can be done while lucid. In an OOBE you would see things EXACTLY as they are in the waking world. The only difference is you would be not in your body. Even if in your OOBE everything seems real except there is a cup on the couch you are just dreaming. After you have an OOBE you need to wake up and see if everything is exacty as it was in the OOBE. If even one tiny little thing is different you were most likely dreaming. Also, since you have left your body, you would not feel the effects of gravity. You would not even be in a body. You would be able to feel things like heat, but would travel through all objects. It is really quite and interesting experience, but it must be just like I have explained or most likely it is not an OOBE. |

Still trying to decide on a sig.
How is this: If you can't beat them join Lost soul.
Concious-exit OBEs are much more vivid and clear than normally spontaneous ones or dreams. A concious exit requires a great deal of mental energy to achieve, but it is worth it. |

I do not think it takes much energy at all to acheive a concious split. |
