      An experiment of somesorts

I need someone who is incredibly well at concentrating for this.

I want you to go to someone you know well. Get them to tell you a subject that you know nothing about. for instance counting cards in blackjack. Then enter a dream.

During your dream summon that person. DEMAND that they teach you the subject. They may refuse but you must DEMAND AT ALL COSTS that they teach you. once they do listen your best and concentrate. When you wake up do your best to remember what they said. Now go back to the person and tell them what they said in your dream and ask them if thats right.

Lets try it with card counting. i know about it, if you dont, try the experiment.

now lets all do are best to provide proof of a superconsciousness.

      good luck.

      erk

Oh i always feel so guilty when double posting or bumping topics.

i'd really like some feedback on this. I've been looking for the answer for about 5 months now.

I know how it is to spend a long time waiting for somebody to say something, Para-Para...

Anyway, I'm sorry I can't say anything just yet, but I promise I will do this tonight and try and get back to you tomorrow ASAP about my experience.

Thank you for the suggestion. This should be interesting.

      Thank you for responding!

i hope others will help as well.

i'm starting my dream journal tonight and setting my alarm for around 6am

hopefully i'll be able to do this experiment first hand

P.S. if your gonna ask about counting cards dont post your results PM them to me so we dont ruin it for others

      again, good luck.

I don't know if this helps, but it may be along the same path that you're wondering. IE: can you learn about things that you don't actually know whilst in LD? Maybe like some kind of akashic record. (if this isn't where you were going or this isn't helpful, let me know and I'll kill the post!)

I primarily utilize LD in my working world. I invent in the algorithmic space, solving complex real-world problems by reducing them to mathematical models.

I've pretty much maintained a ratio of about one patent for every year I've been alive (probably 3:1 for filings)

I go into LD to solve these problems in a space where physics aren't constrained and I can completely focus on the problem at hand. I've been tremendously successful at learning things I have no way of knowing whilst in a dream-space... [shrug] It seems to work for me...

I figure I collect a crudload of knowledge unconsciously. And that it remains stored in difficult to access locations of the brain. Merging conscious and semi-conscious portions of the brain together and being able to access that collected knowledge is why it works. Just a theory...

So someone may know enough math to invent a reasonable card-counting system. And that DC may be able to then digest that and spit it back. card-counting systems all have a basis in highly elementary statistics and probably anyone that made it past 7th grade, if they had 100% retention of what they've learned, could invent a card-counting system. So if you could remember 100% of what you've actually learned in your life, what additional knowledge would be available to you through deriving it?

      heh

this is only the beggining of the experiment.

if a few tests work out (even something simpler)

then i'm going to start other things, things that a human brain couldn't normally comprehend.

i wanna see how much greater you can concentrate without sensory input. I wanna push the limits of the human brain. until now i've had no way of doing it.

indeed kim i also beleive that the subconcousness (yea i can never spell that )
picks up alot of info that we never use. I also beleive that the subconciousness puts this info together and draws conclusions without us even knowing it.

i'm just wondering how many conclusions it draws without us ever knowing.
