My first Full Blown Lucid Dream

      Hi guys,

So I have an issue...I am not trapped in my lucid dream. I can wake up but I need to go to sleep first - for obvious reasons.

The thing is...all my reality checks/tests are failing me...WTF do I do? I have become HYPER AWARE (which is very nice and helps me decide what I want to do)

      BUT

This state - although easily accessible - is too important for me to 'give up'.

I need to talk to someone who lucid dreams. Any help?

      Hi there..

Are you saying your reality checks arent working once you become lucid? what reality checks are you using?

      My reality checks are:

      - Counting fingers
      - Breathing through nose

Very elementary ones. I think I need more sophisticated ones like checking data that I knew to be true in my 'waking life'.

      Any ideas?

Thats what i do too, ive only had 1 lucid dream myself but from my research they seem to be the most used techniques, however if you dont feel they work well for you, you could search for more or create your own?
Have a search for Puffin's 'SAT technique', where she explains how you can increase awareness in waking life thus increasing dream awareness.
I also heard someone summoned/created a dream character that constantly reminded them they were dreaming..

If you are as you say "Hyper Aware", heres what you need to do.

Find a clock, or a piece of paper, or hell find a dream character who is talking.
Look at and away from the clock; see if the time changes.
Look back and forth from the paper; see if the text changed.
Or listen to the person's conversation, if it doesn't make sense... there ya go
