Images from forgotten dreams of the past suddenly appearing?

something really weird happened before I fell asleep. I closed my eyes and saw a tunnel and tried to focus on the farthest point away to try and go into an LD. i started getting like the hypnogogia image flashes in my head but instead of being random, they were flashes from dreams I've had in the past that I did not remember until I saw them, I'm talking like dreams from years past even. I kind of woke up and wondered what was going on, and that maybe my subconcious had stored these images but I couldn't figure out why they were popping up now. i closed my eyes again and they kept going, I was trying to concentrate on them and thought maybe i could "go into" an old dream, realize it was a dream and be lucid. But I was very aware of my body and my arms kept itching and stuff so i would move and not sleep, finally i fell asleep but do not remember dreaming until later.... I know about the images and stuff, that's happened before, but never the old dream memories. has this happened to anyone???

On the odd occasion I am doing something, then an old dream sort of "flashes back" and I remember it again. I guess I have the supreme elephantmemorykinesis or something stupid now.

I often remember dreams that I had a long time ago that I didn't remember at first.

oh hell rembering dreams from long ago that ALWAYS happens to me i can always recall back certain dreams from the past when il always trying to recall the one i had last night.

I do remember old dreams occasionally it was just so weird that these really fast images were "scrolling" thru my brain. I couldn't even recall any of them later! I have had the random hypagogic images a lot before sleep but the old dreams were so strange.....

Are you still around? This has been happening to me. It's astounding. I think I may have a good idea of what "awakes" this phenomenon. I need to ask you some questions. The crescendo occured on even while I was relaxing. BAM! Literally thirty dreams just starting pooring in. This needs to be investigated.
