yeah... cheezy title, whatever.

Today I was at my freshman college orientation for UCSB, and I met a girl there that said she thought she reconized me from somewhere else. This seemed pretty normal to me, seeing how college freshmen are meeting quite a few people, seeing a lot of new faces, except that I had sort of the same feeling...

We were both taking different engineering majors, so we happened to be doing a lot of orientation activities together..

In one of the sessions we were in the hallway in some discussion group talking about some ethnicity situation - long details - she said she could relate because she was russian and could speak russia too. This Is when the bigger deja vu hit me. It was still minor (it happens quite often to me, often enough that I don't really get that excited any more), so I just kinda let it play out like watching a rerun of TV that lasts a few seconds and is real.

Later we talked about it more, we agreed that it was kinda weird that we both seemed to reconize each other and how I had deja vu and all, but nothing every really came of it, apart from a new friend in college :-).

I think that it is pretty crazy that I'll get all these little clips of Deja vu that pop up in life, some times I'll know what someone will say next, what I'll then respond with (even though I could probably say something different if I wanted to), and then what they'll say/do after that, I just let these events happen and just "play along" with them to see how far they will go for.

I think these deja vu's come from remembering small amounts of dreams I've had, and I don't think I can really improve them, apart from trying to increase my dream recall. But then I still won't know what from any of my dreams will or wont happen. When it does happen, it is pretty damn close to what I "remember" from before.

Gotta love the freaky stuff!
