Do you believe dream magick is an exercise of wits? Your power is only limited by your creativity, no? The more ways you can think up to manipulate what is around you in a manner which makes sense to you, the more you ought to be manipulate things safely without losing lucidity by using sheer will power alone. Such brute force measures come with costs in awareness, as you rely on your unconscious to do the work for you, thus diverting your awareness from lucidity but toward the delirium that entails the unconscious mind. But, if you actively use your imagination to manipulate what is around you passively, you can still actively exert control while retaining lucidity and awareness. Would you say this is the premise behind the dream magick you are speaking of?
