Success!
I was lucid this morning, visited Floating Head on a driveway outside a house. We chatted. He reported having a NON lucid dream this morning, where we were outside, in a suburbs setting, chatting.
Cool! So did he show up as a floated head or did he discribe what he looked like? Or a different forum all together?
Haha, no he looked like himself. I know what he looks like, so no mystery there. Only difference is that his hair was long and curly instead of very short. Upon sharing this morning, he said that he often dreams of himself looking like he did when he was younger with long hair.
Just wanted to add. I've only seen one picture, and he looked like the person in the picture. Sorry for double posting.
This an off topic post but I think it's important to let everyone know summoning demons is perfectly safe and I recommend everyone give it a go at least once. Just treat em with respect, pay them well, and you're gucci. Don't even need to banish, can just give em license to leave whenever.
Anyways, hope your shared dreaming efforts don't get you possessed. But if they do DM me and we can talk about it and make plans to possess more people BYE!
Wanted to share some interesting things I read in Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss today (while on a break from work ;)).
In a study done in California of psychologists and their patients, recorded instances of shared dreaming. Here is one I found truly amazing:
"The therapist dreamed that a rat was biting [the patient] ... realizing that the rat was terrified, he stroked it to calm it down. Then the rat detached itself."
"the therapist's client reported that on the same night, he dreamed a rat was biting his hand, at the same spot. "Then a hand entered my dream, calmed the rat down, and detached it.""
Here is another example I found interesting, done by the author himself, while lucid. The woman he visited in dream was a friend that was battling breast cancer.
"...She was frozen, paralyzed in terror of shadowy, snakelike forms that menaced her on all sides. I grabbed two of these snakelike things and wound them into a caduceus. Instantly, the healing staff came brilliantly alight in my hand. It radiated intense golden light. I touched [her] with it, willing the transfer of healing energy."
Her report:
"[She] called me early the next day. She told me she had dreamed I came to her and flooded her with light." She went on to recover from breast cancer.
Just thought that was interesting. Hope you guys find it so, as well. :)
Hey, I was one of the original dream share posters. It's still real. I get confirmed shared dreams sometimes.
This is Very common. Wether everyone is lucid or not, people will have the same events in dreams with minor details different. It's a lot like the police questioning multiple witnesses to a crime. Each person will give a slightly different description of events, when people have dream telepathy this gets extremely exaggerated. I still experience this somewhat to this day. the most recent being I had this dream this Muslim guy from work, i saw him sitting in a black space and praying about me and my dog, (My dog has bad allergies and his vet bills are insane). I asked the Muslim guy In real life if he had been praying about my dog. He was very shocked and siad yes indeed he has.
Hi all,
I take it this is still going on? I hope so because life’s going to become significantly less busy in a couple weeks, and while I still have a crappy sleep environment to deal with, I’ll at least have the time to type out my dreams properly – and the motivation to risk running up a bit of sleep debt.
You mean, that we are living our lives... Than yes!!
Yeah, I'm too busy working on a big project.
I did have an experience, last month with someone that doesn't live where I am. However, that is all I want to tell you. Privacy thing. ;) Sorry if I'm spamming this page, Floating Head.
I know, right?! Then why are you? What does that have anything to do with this topic? Senseless banter is here, Knock yourself out: https://www.dreamviews.com/senseless-banter/
Hi. It's been a loooong while since I've posted here, and I'm older now, with a lot of things happening in between. I would absolutely be interested in this. I was around during Raven and Man of Shred and Nomad and everybody. I was a part of IOSDP too, with some ambiguous results. Count me in. I have a lot to say on this topic but would have to contribute in the morning,
I've not been on here for ages, thanks @MoonageDaydream for updating the thread! hope we can keep this going. personally I've been working steadily to get my lucidity up, without lucidity it makes this WAY more difficult ha ha.
So I wanted to add my own two cents to this thread, about experiences so far. I've found dreamsharing attemps with MoonageDaydream WAY easier than with most people I have attempted to find. I'm not sure why that is. I think perhaps it could have something to do with the fact that she has experimented with going out of her dreams before.
It seems that if you intend to go out of your dream and into other dreams (or possibly any other place 'outside of your head') You have to fight through various barriers in order to do so, but then once you have it is easier to find other dreamers (and also for them to find you). Also opposite sex seem to work well/more success than compared to same sex. (but not exclusively the case)
Wonderful news! Yes I was saddened to find his dj no longer accessible here. I am glad all is well! Personally I believe shared dreaming to be critical to humanities future. It is great to see people still pursuing this! Eventually I hope to escape my own ego prison and have some grand adventures again
That does help! Understandably so, though the communal dream journal here is one of the most fascinating parts of Dreamviews. I find an immense amount of inspiration and encouragement reading of others experiences. Cheers!
What is a big beautiful landmark that can act as a Shared Dream Beacon?
Have had one? Please share how it happened!
