Vibrations and Dreaming: My Second Post.

I woke up in the middle of the night and I was very afraid. It felt as if my whole house was shaking, and there was a loud wind roaring outside of my bedroom windows. I noticed that my breathing and heart rate were seriously elevated, and I was scared to open my eyes. I did not know if I could not move, but I knew that I did not want to move. I felt as if I was totally awake.

After a minute or so, I realized that it felt like my body was vibrating very fast, as well as the bed and my entire house, including the its foundation.

There is construction near my house and they blast frequently, which rattles my house. I am used to it because it's been going on for a year or so. I initially thought that was what was happening, but I did not know why it was happening continuously at that time of night.

When I got up in the morning I was still a bit in shock because I did not understand what had happened, but the whole experience was very vivid. Having grown up in a religious/spiritual house hold, I thought I was under some crazy demonic attack. I'm sure that was from the fear. I dont think that lucidity is evil or anything like that.

As the day went on, I thought that maybe I was having an OBE, but I had no idea if that was the case.

What do you think? How should I persue this?

Is there a way to overcome the fear in order to progress?

      Thanks in advance!

love the fear and embrace it.. i love being terrified and i love that vulnerable feeling...try to develope this attitude in other aspects of your life until it becomes deeply programmed. you will notice that your view of fear and pain will change to something pleasant. when i was 19 i had a fear of insects and so i collected as many as i could into a jar and dumped them all over me. I am also considered insane by the state of maryland so its up to you if you take my advise.

From what you're describing, that def. sounds like hypnagogia. I used to always get scared when that happened to me when I was younger and would force myself to wake up. Once I figured out what it was and there was nothing wrong with me, I became much more comfortable with it and eventually grew to enjoy it.
