what do you think happens when someone is deprived of any percent of light for a period of several days?
light deprivation leads to the mental production of dimethyltryptamine
which is the source of sensory production beyond the physical world.
when we sleep at night and close our eyes there is only darkness and so this stimulates in our minds the dream state.
the same active chemical constituent found in certain hallucinogens is produced in minute amounts by the human brain causing the dream state.
so the next step is going until the physical and dream world maintain a balance, and the only way to do that would be to spend (several) days in total darkness, so when you awaken, you're still dreaming. this is an experiment for lucid dreamers who feel very confident in their abilities and are ready to explore more further. what say you fellow scholarly students of enlightenment? 8)
