      Please Help

Sometimes I can close my eyes and start to go to sleep, but just before I drift off, I force my eyes open, and try to move. It is incredibly hard to move, because I have to concentrate and then force myself to move. Everything is blurry and I have to concentrate to even keep my eyes open. I roll out of bed onto the floor and it becomes easier and easier to move until I have full movement back. Surprisingly, that is not the wierd thing about it. I can look back and see my body still sleeping, and when I do something like move an object (which is incredibly hard) it has moved when I wake up in the morning. I set up a camera, and taped this happening. It is me sleeping, and I do not move, yet my clock moves and then falls off of the dresser. I moved the clock in that altered state, so I think that I have unlocked the secret of telekinetics. I can only stay in this state of mind for a little while before either waking up, or going to sleep.

Please let me know if you have heard of this phenominon or anything like it. I am trying to think about how this is possible. Should I be concerned?

That's a good question, actually...I have no idea. I'm sure someone else in this forum knows, though.

To post a video, I guess you could upload it to an external webpage and provide a link.

It sounds to me like an Out of Body Experience. When you moved the object, did you use hands, or was it all mental? In other words, do you have a body in this altered state? Also, in this state you should be able to walk right through your house's walls. I need to get back into the swing of going out of body. It's been awhile.

You had a lucid dream. Post the video. You can upload it to http://rapidshare.de/ or some similar file hoster.

Yes I did have a body, and I pushed the clock over with my hands, but on the video, you can not see the body, just me sleeping, and then the clock inches toward the edge before falling off, then I wake up.

A lucid dream is when you are aware that you are dreaming and can alter your surroundings, this was not a lucid dream at all. I was still concious, able to think out things with ease, just in another state of being... It is hard to explain.

Did you record a video with a web cam or is it on tape?
If it's already in digital form then you can just upload it to free file hosting, for example: http://www.savefile.com/filehost/
Would definitely be curious to see.

Not to sound overly skeptical, and I'm not accusing you of lying, but even seeing a video would not really convince me, considering that you list your occupation as "magician".

I also don't want to be rude, but even posting the video really doesn't prove anything.

If you have really unlocked the secret then reproduce it then go to a lab and have it tested, but until then I think you'll find most people are going to be skeptical even if you posted 5 videos of stuff moving while you lay in your bed....

I think it would take a lot of effort to make a tape of something like this that stands up to the separate, individual scrutiny of several different people.

Hmm...I've experienced something similar once. I went to a party one night. I remember wearing my plastic/rubber watch. I went to sleep in my party clothes. Then I remember feeling that the watch was on too tight. In my dream I took it off and placed in on the table near my bed. When I woke up, it was there. It may be though that i took it off with my hands while sleeping. But somehow it feels like my dream affected the reality...

You probably weren't dreaming - you were actually taking off the watch and putting it on the table. You just remembered it like it was a dream because you were half-asleep.
