      Recording your Dreams

I wasn't really sure where to put this topic...

Anywho, would it be possible to record your dreams to some sort of Visual-Audio format, so you could replay and watch them whenever you wanted? I looked around, and somebody said this had already been invented...

If anyone can send an article then please do. Or just debate, because I doubt that this technology exists, or will exist for a good... 15 years or so.

The technology does not exist yet, and I would be surprised if it comes around this century. The human mind is a pretty complex thing, and each one is as unique as a fingerprint, and always changing. It's possible, but it's still a long way off.

personally if it comes around in this century i will be very surprised. While I believe it is possible, I think that even if technology advances continueing to grow so fast, and the possible number of transistors on a board doubling on an average of once every 18 months, this won't be available for at leat 200 years as the brain is so complex, and no matter how much we study it, there is soooooooooo much more to learn.

Eventually... probably. 15 years? I dont think so.

Most people tend to estimate tech advances much too early. People in the 1950's thought we would all be living on the moon by 1982, and anyone remember 2001a space odyssey? Well its 2006 now and we are not even close to that.

I would estimate 50-100 years if not more.

If a team of highly skilled scientists began working on it this second... I wouldn't be surprised if it is complete within 20 years. Unfortunatley I doubt that any team of highly skilled scientists would begin work on it right now...

Oh well. I'm only 12... still lots of technological advancements for me to witness!
need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

There is a good chance that such technology will be invented, but not always in the most idealistic way. Some of the greatest inventions we have today were invented in a time of war.
