Well first of all you'd have to hone your ability to do three things; being able to conciously relax your body, your ability to keep your mind focused and clear of distracting thoughts (meditation being key here), and finally learning how to put yourself in trance on mental cue. These are all learnable given the proper effort and motivation on a daily basis. There are Chakra energetic exercises in Robert Bruce's book, which talks about the energy body in detail, mostly derived from Qi Gong and his own explorations of the mind. Secondly you would have to learn a projection technique like imagining like you're rolling out of your body or lifting out of it when you're in deep trance and relaxed enough. It's sort of like concious hypnosis, forcefully controlling the mind. |
