      A feeling of nonexistance

Has anyone ever had a feeling after waking up, that you simply didn't exist and just came back to existance as you woke up?

It happened to me a while ago and I still wonder what it was, if there's any explanation for it. It didn't feel like anything I've ever experienced before. It didn't feel like coming out of a dream and not remembering it. And it didn't feel as being somewhere far far away (I get these feelings sometimes).

It felt as if I literally didn't exist for indefinite time. In terms of this reality it was a few hours, but as if infinity passed in those few hours.

Has anyone felt anything similar or has any ideas to explain this experience?

I've had a similar feeling a couple of times, but not dream related.

Does it leave you feeling happy/content?

Not so much happy or content, more like neutral, nothing at all, absence of feelings.
But my perception of reality is altered for a while, broadened, impossible seems possible, which makes me feel good.

How about you? What do you feel?

Yeah, I totally got that 'anything is possible' feeling, like it's all potential to be created. I get little flash backs to it sometimes, but not so intense.

actually i feel this often. like i'm just an observer. it has its good and bad points...like i have a kind of objectivity on life others don't seem to have, and i never take it all very seriously.

from time to time, usually while on drugs, i'll this elusive, intense feeling of reality. i DO exist, this is my life and its ending one minute at a time, as tyler durden would put it. its like a reverse reality check. both beautiful and frightening.

Sounds like you are just, well, b-e-i-n-g. This is you without the you, your awareness without your ego. Tyler Durden - great character, great film.

I cannot say I've felt that before. Though, I wish I could have experienced it.
How did it affect you emotionally?
