      Wierd Question

If you are dreaming, and are awake in the dream but you are so convinced by the storyline that you dont notice anything wierd, does it mean you are haveing a lucid dream.

Example: I was dreaming that i was with a friend flying through a forest, i was controlling it because i was flying through a forest dodging trees and going through square targets but i was hypnotized by the story line that i never got to do what i wanted but i was still cotnrolling what i did. its hard to explain haha. (Please note if you dont udnerstand what im talking about and ill try again)

      Welcome back, Lutch!

That would be called a low-leveled LD, in which you are aware you're dreaming, but mostly focusing on the dream.
BTW, this did not need to be in Beyond Dreaming, because usually stuff on DSing, etc is in here!

That is, unless you didn't know you are dreaming. It's possible to have very real control over you dream self and your actions, but not think twice about how strange the things you're doing are.
In that case, it wouldn't be a lucid dream, just a non-lucid dream with high control.
