a vision of an altar

i hope someone can tell me what this may mean. Back in June of 2004, I was about to doze off, when I started to have a VERY clear vision. I'd have thought I had lapsed into a regular dream, but I was fully aware of my body lying in my bed. I felt the matress under me and the blanket over me. The vision was as through my own eyes as if I was experienceing first hand, but remember- all I felt was my body lying in the bed-I didnt feel any sensation of walking or anything. I was coming downhill, and though I didnt see them I knew that the hills rose into mountains far behind me. I was approaching what looked like an altar, set upon the side of a hill. It was of light gray stone with designs carved into it. It was a round, flat table atop a round column of thick girth. I guess it was about 4- 4 1/2 ft high. About 4-7 (cant remember it THAT clearly) other pillars formed a circle around this altar They were of the same kind of stone and stood about 6 1/2 - 7 feet tall, the columns were much more slender than that of the altar and they also had a round flat tops. Stone chutes lead up from the altar and each chute connected to a column. Id guess the chutes were maybe about 10 ft long. altogether it looked like a great star or wheel with spokes and a hub, if you were to look from above.There was what looked to be dried leaves upon the altar as well as upon the culumns and it seemed as though these leaves were soaked with a fragrant oil though I couldnt smell it. There were also garlands of white flowers hanging about a sort of round circle surrounding the altar. Picture a canopy bed with no canopy, just the frame, with garlands wound around the frame. Maybe that'll help you picture what Im talking about. This frame stood maybe 10-12 feet from the ground, I felt the time was Autumn-which happens to be my favorite season, also the season of my birth. Leaves blanketed the ground and there were trees all around. Anyway I was coming downhill toward it, and as I got near to the garland, a fire went up on the altar and quickly shot up the chutes and ignited the pillars. I surprised me so much that the vision was totally obliterated and yet that split second after the vision faded but before my eyes opened, I saw the flash of light lingering, but faded right away. Like if you close your eyes and click a flashlight on and off real quick.
