I don't think so, it could be, but there is just too little evidence to determine that it is. It could be that they are going to torture her so she will try to shut herself out as well...who knows. Just doesn't seem like it....

madonna does the mystic Kabbalah practises, which according to my Jewish friend who also practises them has lucid dreams and out of body experiences as part of their tradition. He has had many many OBEs over the years and some concerning pre-cognitive views of the earth. whether that song is saying it or not, not sure

Became a fan after the "Virgin" album, her music before that was just bubble gum... She became her best when she did the "Ray of Light' album which was dedicated to her religion.. the Kabbalah.... I feel very connected to this artist. Her songs are deeply spiritual. I know this song is about lucid/OOBE but it's cleverly disguised but not. Of course, songs have different meaning for different folks, but if you listen to this song, not just reading the words, but HEAR HER SING IT.. it's very very clear. Blissful
