      Weird OBE/Lucid Dream

      Hello,

I have been interested in OBEs/astral projection and lucid dreaming for quite a few years now. Never managed to achieve either until about a year ago when I started having quite a few lucid dreams.

I went through a bit of a lucid dry spell for a month or two, then I had one the other night but not a very vivid one.

This morning I got up-didn't really remember much of a dream, went on the computer for about 15mins, then went back to bed. It took me about 30-45 mins to get back to sleep and I might've been sleeping on my back (hardly ever do this, but I think it helps me lucid dream better). Then this really weird thing started happening and I was floating out of my body and over the bed...I couldn't see anything, my "eyes" were closed, but I could feel it, or know that I was floating up. It was so bizarre and then I don't know what happened to me because then it was happening again and I was floating up over my bed and thinking to myself something like "wow, I'm actually out of my body, I'm gonna go explore now...". I think I woke-up then.

This was really weird and so cool! I used to believe in OBEs and I'd still love to, but in this case it could've just been me dreaming it, but it felt like I was half-asleep, and maybe that's why I went back into my body and it happened again? I don't know, I didn't feel any vibrations or anything, it was a great experience though. What's funny is that I was quite depressed yesterday and this morning and I thought to myself yesterday "I'll only be happy tomorrow if I have a lucid dream or OBE!" Thanks subconscious!

Any thoughts on whether this was an OBE or not? I'm thinking it was just a dream, but a great one!

Well you are probably the best person to interpret the experience because you are the one who experienced it but I think that this my be a sensation that is the result of entering SP

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it
