While resting on my bed, I was terrified to see an alien suddenly appear beside my bed. I thought that I was still awake, but apparently I was dreaming. In my dream? I was too terrified to get out of bed and run, so I pretended that I was sleeping!

The ram-like brown short furred alien was dressed in a brown and black military looking uniform. He stood beside my bedroom window by the left side of my bed, holding a small, flat cloth gadget which covered his palm. He moved his palm held gadget over the top of my head, not touching my head.

I had an absolutely incredible experience. I could see my body from several perspectives at once. I could see it from the perspective of the alien, as well as from different corners in the room. I could even see by back resting on the bed from the perspective of the bed.

I was excited that I was having a multi-phenomenal field of view experience. Normally, persons have one visual field of view, and can see things only from the perspective of the eye front area. I had multiple sensory fields of view, and I could see them all at the same time. There was no interference between the different visual fields of view. Seeing one visual field of view did not obstruct seeing the others.

Experiencing multiple fields of view is analogous to reading a book without having to take turns reading one page at a time. Imagine being able to read all the book's pages at once without ever having to turn the pages.

I would like to hear from others about this, especially from those who have had or would like to have similar experiences.

wow that sounds cool... so you were dreaming, or you werent dreaming?? it seems like a kind of sleep paralysis . i know a lot of people see things during this state. could you have moved if you wanted to? or do you even know? i havent had any experiences like that i dont think. i do have one memory of mine that moves kind of like a camera away from my body when i am in my room when i was very young.. and i dont know if that was a dream or not... its a little weird.

We are always dreaming, it's just a matter of how long the dream is...

Is lucid dreaming something you've practiced or did this experience just happen to you?

Did you feel like you were controlling the dream or just experiencing it while knowing it was a dream?

Incidentally, do you think there's any substances to the whole alien visitation/abduction phenomenon?
