Trying to OOBE during Surgery?

I don't look forward to getting my wisdom teeth pulled out but at least it's an opportunity to induce an oobe. On second thought, I've heard of people leaving their bodies during surgery and feeling all the pain but unable to communicate it with the doctors. Has anyone experienced such?

Even if you did come back into your body during surgery, they shoot you up with morphine or give you Vicadin, so no worries.
