      All People Could Be Psycic!

I finally realized something the other night.

Anybody else get that when they are falling asleep certain images pop in front of their eyes.

Happened to me the other night.

Anyways, a totally random picture popped up into my mind.
It was of some wierd zombie looking guy with a mohawk.
      Scared me at the time.
I even thought to myself at the time that I was certain I had never seen that image.
I mean, they are just too random for my mind to put together on it's own.
I swear to God, I have never before seen any of the pictures that pop into my mind when I am falling asleep.

My theory was that all of these images that drift past your eyes are real images in real life somewhere or another.

Sure enough, I went on google images and looked up "Zombie Punk".
The exact image was there, but it seemed to be tatooed onto an arm.

I know some people will be like, "You must have seen this image somewhere before in real life."
I know for certain I have never seen that image, nor any of the others I see in my mind at night.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or what, but yes, scientists do say that people have ESP abilities that they aren't even aware of.

But the thing I found amazing about this was that I was aware of it.

Scientists say a lot of things.

They said the earth was flat.

Regardless, I believe in the collective unconscious. "Like we're all telepathically sharing our experiences."

That's very common. It probably happens to every one almost every night but, like dreams, we generally forget it. It's just hypnagogic imagery.

I know some people will be like, "You must have seen this image somewhere before in real life."
I know for certain I have never seen that image, nor any of the others I see in my mind at night.
It's easy to deny having ever seen it but we see and know far that we typically realize.

For example: Walk through a crowded street, amusement park, store, whatever. Ok, are you back? Good. Now let me pick 50 people from your journey. You've even made eye contact with half of this 50. Now tell, how many of these people have you "never seen on your life"?

I'm guessing that almost every single one of those people will invoke the same response from you: "I've never seen this man in my entire life." When he truth is, you actually saw him not 30 minutes ago. He's the guy who rang up your sale at the checkout counter.

So, to summarize: You've either seen that very image before of your seen similar ones; ones similar enough for you to comfortably assume it to be the very same image.

After all, the tattoo theme of a "zombie punk" is far from unheard of. I'm sure you've seen plenty of people throughout your life that have had similar tattoos, it just never made much of an impression on you to be a big deal. Until now, that is. Not to mention, there have been "zombie punks" in use for things like album cover, car stickers, T-shirts, cartoons, and many other things.

      You know what

I'm going to go against what everyone thinks. Everything happens for a reason. Everyone can/could have esp.

I do agree with you that those images are real. I saw a case about a lady who claimed to have esp and she ended up solving a murder case. It happens all the time.

If we want to further explore lucid dreaming, because I know that I've done just about all of it, I get bored lucid dreaming. I'd rather just watch the dream.

Buddist monks used to further explore lucid dreaming and they could leave the body in real life, they could also have shared dreams.

I have more to say but I'm sure the moderators will just get rid of it so i'll just stop here.

      Occam's Razor.

      EITHER,

Your brain is connected to some kind of collective conciousness of which there is no empirical evidence via some elaborate mechanism and hence can detect pictures on Google,

      OR,

You saw it subconciously somewhere and as you slept your brain generated imagery located in your subconcious.

Come on, let's employ a little modern rationale here.

      OR:

The fact that he doesn't think his mind could ever come up with it such an image is simply because he underestimates the power of imagination.

      OR:

      Google is reading our minds.

      I am not even kidding.
I have never seen that picture of the punk zombie on a the person's arm until I saw it in google.

I mean, I find it highly unlikely that I would somehow have seen that exact person with that exact tatoo in real life.
It was that exact image too, as I remember the word "SKUNKX" or something on his head.
I especially remember that because after I saw the image in my mind, I was laughing at how that word didn't make sense to me.

I see hypnagogic images nearly everytime I go to sleep, sometimes the images are of familiar things, places or people and the other times they are totally random. I do think though that there is alot more to these than just mere images and that they are possibly more important than actual dreams.

The same thing happened to me the other night. I was trying to get to sleep when an image of me on a bus came to me, I was sat next to a suspicous package and I thought it was a bomb, I warned the other passengers and got off. When I turned the news on the following day, the police had foiled an attempted bombing in London, ok so the bomb they found was in a car not a bus but I'm sure the image was more than coincidence.

Definitely, because there have never been car bombs before. You obviously caught a glimpse of the future.

It's what I do. Especially when I think illogical leaps in reason are being made. I just don't see the connection between your dream and some random car bomb somewhere. I'm not trying to be rude about it; I just find the connection to be contrived and not borne of substance.

Fair enough, it could well be mere coincidence.

Although its not very often that there is a bomb in London and it wasn't a normal dream, more like a hypnagogic image which is why it stood out more to me.

      It dont matter any how.

*****************it takes time but im trully mastering this hypnagogic imaging thing...happens to me every night,,,its really part of dreaming proccess i would take a very wild guess and say that these images, when u are aware of them it suddenly kicks u off track and wake u back up from almost entering a dream....what i can asure is that somehow these images are not meant to be seen when u are aware of them and i trully believe that u have to be fully asleep in order to see them and acknowledge them consciously...
