      Road to Enlightenment

      Here im going to post step that would help anyone begin thier path to Enlightenment,
      Warning: very long.

      I guess the best place to begin is relaxing yourself, this is important. i usually find the following method simple enough:

      Relaxing the body:
      first off get into a comfortable position, you dont have to sit crossed legged, and lotus position isnt required but it helps alot if you can pull it off. Your back must be relitivly straight, and lying down is not a good idea, it makes the mind clowdy. now that you have a comfortable position, start relaxing breathing. In through your nose, feel the breath relaxing you, out through your mouth, see the stress leaving. bring relaxation to all parts of the body while breathing in the relaxation style, picture the air you breath in reaching all parts of your body and relaxing it, do this slowly, have patience, relaxed? ok now lets move on.

      Stilling the thoughts:
      now this is much easier said than done, here is a method i use:
      first begin by gathering all of your thoughts in your head and see them as a distraction, then see all these thoughts being flushed down a internal vortex into your body witch your not thinking of right now, loose awareness of your body as well as your useless thoughts. now that youve flushed away your distractions, focus your attention on one thing, .........crap i gotta go, finish this post when i get back tonight, peace

      hmm lets see , were was i...

      ahh yes ........that one thing, it could be anything you choose, as long as it has one basic thought, not a series of things, get me? practicing focus on one simple thing for an extended period of time helps your patience and oviously your focus. after some time you may get wierd sensations through your body, this is normal. and kinda cool if you ask me. ok so lets move on.

      Zen:
      youve relaxed and focused on the body, as well as the mind, now try bringing the two together, usualy you see the body and the mind as two, seperated objects. now let bring them together, bring your mind to one thought, that thought being your body, now feel the two connecting, dont just imagin it, feel it, its hard to explain in words, but after trying for a while you will see what it is i mean. there is no body, no mind, but there is Zenan, both the body and the mind, as one, you are one, believe this, dont just think it, know it. zen is also known as Alpha

      Astral Projection:
      after practicing zen for some time, and not just a few zen meditations, i mean commitment, lots of meditation. well ne way after mastering zen you can now again seperate the body from the mind, this is astral projection. relax yourself and lay down, doing this at morning is alot easier than night for you are not as tired from a hard day. focus all your attention to that small ringing that is always presant in your head, listen to this one thing and pay no attention to ne thing else, if your attention starts to wonder , simply bring it back to this ringing. when the vibrations rush in it will be a bit startling, it feels like a big earth quake, but dont let it exite you to much or youll have to start over. now that you can feel the vibrations the next step is steping out of your body, picture your astral self, witch is greyish clear like matter floating upward, feel yourself floating up ward. if this doesnt work, when the vibrations get strong simply rool over out of your body. now your body has a magnetic pull so being close to your body can be disorienting , so try to get away from your body as possible, from here the possiblitys are endless, you can go were ever you please, hopefully one day reaching higher and higher planes. BTW the state your in while projecting is called Theta

      Shamanistic Trance:
      this level is not reached until many months , or even years for some. practicing the above practices as many times a day as possible helps alot.
      shamanistic trance or clear light meditation is a turning point in a persons life.You must train your mind to respond in accordance with your will in order to produce the ability to instantly produce a deep shamanic trance. This is done by daily practice.slowly progressing from ordinary consciousness to shamanistic trance and behond works the best, this is done very slowly by centering yourself and controling your mind. i cant tell you what youll see or hear here, because i dont know what YOU will discover, but one thing to try is when you reach what you feel is a very high level, is to ask or request to be taken to the source, hopefully you will be as lucky as i and this will happne without struggle.

      cool

      That seems quite interesting i can only go as far as the vibrations though but relaxation and clearing your mind really does help!
      If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect then why practice?
