      Trapped in a lucid dream!?!?!

I would like some feedback on an experience I had that freaked me out.

I've been having very vivid and lucid dreams where I get to talk with my deceased grand-mother. It happened many times before, and they are always in an orange tint, like if the sun was stuck in the "setting" position. These dreams were always pleasant, except for the most recent one I had.

It was in an afternoon nap, the following week after having tried Salvia a few times. In my dream my grand-mother was sitting on a couch and I headed to give her a hud, because she was always loving, etc... but she pushed me away and started getting mad at me for trying salvia, and was insisting on me not trying it again. This experience was very uncomfortable so I tried to wake up.... now this is is where it gets weird.

I was laying on my stomach, my head under blankets, I turned my head to the left to open my eyes and see some light to get out of my dream, but when I opened my eyes I could see my room, but the image from my dream had stretched, like it was tied to my bed where my head was lying. I could see both the real world and my dream at the same time, they were layered one on top of each other. Then I felt my head PULLED to where it was. And I found myself in my dream again, with my grand-mother lecturing me... it was almost as if she wasn't done. so she finished with her speach and *then* I was able to exit the dream....

Does anyone have an explanation, or has lived something similar??
      This freaked me out

i guess it was scary, but it's pretty funny to read this story, how your grand-mother pulled you back into the dream until she finishes her speech. I any case there is a simple explanation: Maybe the first time you woke up, you didn't wake up for real, it was a false awakening and you were still dreaming. Another explanation is that you did wake up for real, but was still partly asleep and you have experienced hypnogogic hallucinations.
A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service
and compassion are the things which renew humanity.
