I'm not sure what you're asking. Changing reality, as in The Secret, changing reality?
      Warning!
      This is only a test.

In the sense that you could dream of a strange person, wake up, then craft a sculpture in real life that resembles that dream character...yes.

In the sense of walking through walls without injury in real life...I don't think so.

The dream yogi's believe that eventually you can become lucid enough to realize that the world IS a dream - and therefore, LD rules apply.

I don't know if I believe this, but i do believe perception is reality.

I'm with KxWaal on the opinion that perception is reality. How many times have you had a bad start to a day, and thought it was going to be a bad day, then it has turned out as such?

i think the secret spells it out quite well,
but years of brainwashed materialistic beliefs, make it hard to believe.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

      hey sophia

i had some vague recognision of reality changed by some guys - but that was not nice, seemingly.

the old she-bagger in Oaxxaca with the maculas on her skin was sitting not far from our rented flat, holding a black sleepy cat on a lead.
      ...

"why don't you leave the cat home?"
"i live in - (forgot th name). it's so very far!"
      ...
Yasija (my partner) dreamed something with that cat - he said the cat does something to the whole area of oaxxaka by his dreaming.

There was a lady on here once who manifested a ring out of her dreams, and i have read stories about other people manifesting small items from there dreams into the real world. Thats the only thing i can tell of you doing when your dreaming to change reality.

Otherwise, like DreamWave said, dreams are dreams, and they are only in your head.

The other idea though, about being lucid enough to realize the effects of dreaming your whole life, is kind of interesting.

That is quite the paradox when you think of it. Even as it is, we do not use our brain and consciousness to our fullest extent. We've evolved four thousands of years turning into what we are now. Imagine where we'll be in the next hundred. We live in a world where new possibilities are coming further and further. If, such as taught in the secret, that your common perception of reality and constant positive thinking on specific thoughts can manifest - then what is stopping us from changing the temperature in a room by thought? Perhaps telepathic communication? Telekinesis?

No one even exercises psychic abilities during the childhood, when it especially matters most. When you do not exercise the 'muscle' then it becomes forgotten. Needless to say, if people are capable of using dreams to manifest objects in reality, then what boundaries do we really have if we fully unlock the infinite amount of power and potential that we have in lucid dreams? We have yet to discover our fullest potential. We are simply caught in an adolescent world of insignificant repetive conflict and blinded by ideals that hold us back to our greatest potential.

In my opinion, I say yes. It is fully possible. Although I do not believe anyone on this planet is capable of bending reality swiftly and easily to their desires, I think it is a long path that the human species is waiting to achieve.

Probably the same. 1. For a hundred years things dont change that much, u cant evolve in 3 generations.. And 2. I dont think we are gonna evolve at all. The evolution itself is the thing that only the smartest/strongest survive and this way we get only strong/smart people, but now even if u are some guy which cant run a 100 meters without need of rest u will survive and u will make kids and the naturall selection is broken. Now evryone is surviving, so even if we evolve in one generations are kids can fuck with wrong people (stupider/weaker) and our grandkids to be normal. Well you see my point.

Thats not how "Only the strongest survive" or evolution works. It works by generation by generation inheriting the genes of the last generation, learning more and adapting to more as the world changes, and then the following generation inheriting the improved genes. This continues and continues. Evolution doesn't mean physical strength, we might become a bit weaker, but a lot smarter. That in itself is evolution. People take things too literally, strength doesn't have to be physical.

LOOOL, thats why i said stronger/smarter. Not only stronger...
And it works that way, the genes improve by seing which survive and which no, but when evrybody survive a big part of the evolution is lets say.. lost. The improvment will be like 1% from what was before 1000 years. And it was slow even then..

At the rate that science, technology, and knowledge is excellerating - in one hundred years elementary students could be being taught calculus for all we know. We could have developed interstellar space travel by then, and are capable of now terraforming small worlds.

Look at the world one hundred years ago. 1900 to 2000. All the history, all the knowledge, all the conflict, psychics becoming more known, etc. If one hundred years doesn't appeal to you, then what about one thousand? You can not foresee the future by just the mating of the species. There are countless factors to consider when it comes to evolution.
