      Dreams of the future

Well I've had 2 visions of the future.

About 3 months ago i had a dream where I was sitting on a stonelike bench in a long narrow hallway in the middle of some area, and there were shops, unoccupied, but the sign said something, that I can't remember anymore. But then 2 months ago I was in Disneyland in Tomorrowland sitting on a stonelike bench in a long narrow hallway in the middle of some area, where there were unoccupied shops, with signs that said the exact same thing as in the signs in my dream. Really creeped me out.

Then another dream I had about a month and a half ago, I was at my school with all my friends and I said something then someone said something back. Well I was at school one day trying to say a sentence but I couldn't think of the words to say, so I unknowingly just said something as fast as I can and it was the same thing as I said in my dream. Then my friend replied with the exact same reply as in the dream. The second I heard that reply I remembered my dream, scared the shit out of me for a second.

And I AM NOT joking about this.

Any ideas about the possibility of dreaming of the future?

It probably is, but then again it probably isn't(deja vu). I personally believe that it is though, but only because I had experienced something similar to you.

i had a dream when i went to the future, but it wasn't a vision or anything like that(at least i hope it wasn't a vision).

anyway the dream went like this:
there was a huge plague upon our world, the plague was actually a woman of evil power like pandora or something, anyway she was destroying everything, the only choice me and my family had to save our selves is to go into the future (that was the only way to avoid her), anyway we went to some sort of train station, sort of like the one harry potter went into to go to his school in the first book or movie, anyway we travelled to the future, and it felt so real. when we got there everything was destroyed, the sky was red and it was very silent, no cars and no signs of life. the first thing i did was i called my best friend, he was 25 i guess(we went into the future about 10 years) anyway we talked and then i woke up.

hopefuly this was just another dream

isn't it an interesting to think about the possibility that we can dream of the future? if we ever were able to take heed and understand our dreams we could make our lives unimaginably better.

I once had a dream about a computer game (Journey to Wild Divine). I was playing the game and the narrator from the game said, "turn around, do not pass this point or else there will be consequences." I'm not sure about you, but when someone/something tells me not to do something it makes me want to do it more. So, I went past the point and my computer blew up!

A couple days later I got to a point in the game when the mentor says, "you are not ready to enter the realm of amliphied wisdom, do not be tempted by your couriousity, turn around and go back." It really scared me. So, I decide to go down the path anyway. When I click on the forward arrow, the game gets dark and thunder appears on the screen. I advance but get stuck in the clouds and can't move anywhere (luckly I saved the game before going forward)

      I\'ve had similar experiences.

At first I wouldn\'t remember the dreams until after the thing happened but now a minute or two before the thing happens I remember the dream and then what happened in the dream takes place in real life before my eyes.

      deja vu

you know, at school we got away from our subject in a france lesson , and we went talking about bad luck and all that kind of stuff, then we went on with the lesson and we eventually discussed deja vu.
So what i have heard about deja vu is that its not really predicting the future or something ( continues story after quote

(continues first bit of my story) but just that your first eye and brainhalf "records" the image just a TINY bit faster than the second eye and brainhalf , so it creates the illusion that you have already experienced it, you predicted it etc.

      (hope it helps )
p.s.: we only had 10 minutes of france that lesson and 35 minutes of talking about other stuff

I had an interesting experience this weekend. I was doing WBTB Friday night. While trying to go back to sleep, I started feeling like I was going to WILD. But the imagery I started seeing was like buildings being hit by fireballs.

Then, Saturday, I was flipping through the TV channels, and I landed on the movie "Volcano". I was right at the scene where the fireballs were being launched out of the tar pits and smashing the downtown buildings.

Then on Sunday, I was channel-surfing again, and found "The Mummy" -- I caught the scene where it hails fire.

Both of those scenes were remarkably like what I "saw" Friday night -- but at the time I had no idea those movies were even going to be on TV, much less that I would be watching part of them.

I have had dreams where They actually did happen in real life. I think that many ppl are capible of this but unaware of it. and they think of it as deja vous. But really they are ignoring the fact that it was a sighn in their dream that they didn't recongnize. dreams give you a chance to think out your actions before it happens in life. I hope you can understand all this.

I think that dreams of the future are possible. I only did it clearly once. I was younger and I drempt I was at someones house and there was a little girl there. We were in her room and she was pulling dolls out of a toy box and showing them to me.

Months later I babysat for a friend of my moms whoes house and daughter I've never met before. I went to her room and there she was pulling dolls out of her toy box to show me.

Needless to say I was pretty freaked out.
