Beating in my stomach & loss of breath

This is going to sound weird. But last night during sleep, i dunno if i was dreaming this but it felt VERY real and is one of the worst experiences i've ever had in my lifetime, Something started beating in the top of my stomach just under and between my ribcage in the center. It got faster and faster and it was vicious felt like i was gonna explode or something anyway i started suffocating i couldnt breath and tried screaming for my mum but it came out really quiet cos i couldnt breath same time i was clutching this thing pounding in my stomach. I was so sure i was gonna die, but it just suddenly stopped and i got my breath back, im convinced if it didnt stop i would have died in my bed, it must have gone on for over a minuite, Something like this has happened before where i stopped breathing and i felt like another second and i would have died.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this or has an explanation and how i can stop it happening?

I would suggest to see a doctor. Whether it's going to an "official" doctor or just seeing an acquaintance who is a doctor. Because what you described may have been a dream but it may have been caused by lack of breath in the physical reality. Our dreams often manifest things that we feel on the outside.

And if it's happened before, all the more reason to ask a doctor as to what it could be.
Obviously, running out of breath like that isn't a good sign and if it's happened more than once, it isn't likely to be a coincidence.

As for the "beyond dreaming" aspect: keep in mind that beings that have power also have wisdom and aren't chaotic. Unless someone has reason to hurt you, they aren't likely to do so. So first and foremost seek medical aid of some sort first. Find out what may be causing it physically.

I think you had SP. I have felt this as well and it is very hard to breathe. Just try not to freak out. Tell yourself to relax and you should wake up and feel normal again.

What is an SP? I had that feeling also in sleep but also in real time while watching a movie, and there's no medical problem.

SP is sleep paralysis. The scientific explanation is that most people are in SP when we are in the REM state to keep our bodies still so we don't sleep walk and we are supposed to snap out of it when we wake up, but that doesn't always happen and you get the feeling of not being able to breathe or move. The other explanation is that SP happens before or after an OBE (out of body experience) or AP (astral projection).

I agree. You need to go to a Doctor, and not just an acquaintance who is a Doctor, but an official Doctor.

What happened isn't coincidence and isn't a matter of "beyond dreaming". It sounds like you have a condition called sleep apnea.

Here is a link to learn more:

I had a friends father that had this and he used to have dreams like that too, but in all reality he was just having an episode where his body "forgot" to breathe.

If you let it progress it can get worse, and if it does it can even get to the point where you will literally suffocate in your sleep.

      Go to a Doctor darlin.

It may be very beneficial for you.
