      Newbie Precog-Dream Question

Hi, this is my first time on this board. I found it searching for information on precognitive dreams, because I'm wondering if a dream I had recently might be precognitive.

First, a little background. My boyfriend and I would have been together for five years this October. He went away (only four hours away) in May, because of a good summer job, and he's going to Sweden for a year, starting in August, as part of his schooling. I was very ready and willing (although possibly a little anxious and whiney) to wait for him until he got back from Sweden. That was, of course, until he broke up with me a month ago. He said he didn't think we were "meant to be" and that I was more his best friend than girlfriend. I agreed to be friends, but I've never wanted anything less. I love him so much and it kills me to even look at him and know that I'm not "with" him.

Anyway, since the breakup I've had tonnes of dreams with him in them. All the dreams are completely different, but they all contain something in them about the breakup. Some are really sad, and some are really happy, but most (even the sad ones) have us getting back together in one way or another. I've been told that these dreams are basically exhibiting my desire for this to happen.

There was a dream a few nights ago that was different. I won't explain the whole dream (unless someone asks me to), but I'll explain the weird different part. I was leaving a room, when my ex-bf's mother said, "You're going to get married you know." I turned around and she was just standing there looking at me. The other person who'd been in the room was gone. I suddenly felt really weird, like I was awake, but still in the dream, and I was confused. His mother just stood there, stock-still, in the middle of the room, looking at me. I said "What?" and she continued, "You and Frankie. You're going to get back together. Don't worry. You're going to get married one day." Then she smiled a little and left the room, and just like that the dream went back to feeling like a dream. In the dream I paid no mind to the conversation, as though it had never happened, and the dream went back to it's usually random wackiness.

I don't dare to HOPE that what I experienced was precognition, but I post at this Dream Journaling board, and one of the hosts there mentioned that she couldn't decide if that part of the dream had been precognitive or not, so I started wondering.

Does anyone have any opinions on this? I'd really like to hear them. I can come back and describe the rest of the dream for you if you want (Frankie actually appeared in other parts).

      Thanks for reading my post.

I'm not sure, but I really think you like this person a lot, and maybe it's just wishful thinking.
